The BBC has become the new home for free to view rugby league, after winning the bid to host the sport on a weekend. After Channel 4 decided to stop their coverage on a Saturday afternoon.

The BBC are believed to be showing the sport at 6 O’clock on a Saturday, making Super League BBC’s primetime Saturday program.

Sky Sports will continue their partnership with rugby league and will show the rest of the games over the weekend. Keeping the plan for all games to be shown on Sky Sports.
