The highly rated Italian Fabio Di Giannantonio has signed a new deal with Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team for 2025 and 2026 MotoGP seasons. Which includes a factory spec Ducatti bike for the next two seasons.

This was hinted at on the Saturday of the British Grand Prix this past weekend, with Ducatti’s Davide Tardozzi gave added information surrounding the news of Ducatti and VR46 signing a deal for a factory bike. Speaking to CanalPlus Tardozzi stated “there will be one [Factory Spec Bike] for Di Giannantonio and a GP24 for Morbidelli”. Which has been confirmed today by both VR46 and Di Giannantonio.

Diggia has had many good results this season, including the P5 this past weekend, after starting from P10. With many stating that he looked very similar to MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi. And this was not only due to the helmet and bike design that the team were sporting for the 75th anniversary of the series.

Tardozzi’s comments also suggest that Franco Morbidelli will be getting the second ride at VR46 for next season. But using the same bike he is using this season with Prima Pramac. However, this has not been confirmed through official press releases as of yet.
