Both Danilo Petrucci and Jake Dixon have been declared fit to race this weekend after passing pre-race medical checks this morning. This is great news for the British fans who will be hoping for a great race from the home hero.
Petrucci returns after an injury at the Czech GP at Most, where he crashed in race one. Petrucci suffered a broken coccyx, forcing him to sit out for the rest of the weekend and the 2 rounds after.
Dixon returns to his home GP after he suffered a wrist injury during pre-season testing at Phillip Island. The former Moto2 race winner returned from his injury at the Aragon round, where he completed both Friday and Saturday of the weekend. He then withdrew from the event on Sunday due to ongoing pain in his wrist.
Dixon completed a private test at Donington a couple of weeks ago, completing 70 laps for the Honda factory squad.
Both have now passed pre-race medical checks and are fit to compete in this weekend’s UK round of WSBK at Donington Park.
